You all know I have a 2003 whipple cobra. Mint condition. I just got my pin number from ford so I will see what a shelby would cost me.
would you sell the 03 cobra and get a 2010 or 2011 GT500? The GT500 will remain stock. Im done with the whole modding scene, because the car never turns out how you want it to be and it's just a pain in the ass. Live and learn. First car that I modded so I learned my lesson.

I will always be a terminator guy, but I like the new shelby's and really want a stock car for now.
The termy will always hold a place with me http://videos.streetfire.net/video/T...-to_649060.htm

I say keep the Cobra.
If you really want a GT500 then wait for the 2011.

they do xplan for the gt500?
the s197 chassis is much more refined and rigid then the cobra. it is roomier and handles awesome off the floor. I was surprised just yesterday even with subframe connectors i could not open the door when one side of my cobra was jacked up, never an issue with my 05 GT. however the raw power i have with my whippled cobra still scares me that i have not even got on it yet balls to the wall. If you want a beast with no issues i would say if you could swing it the gt500 is a better car in terms of comfort / performance. the cobra is a little more raw though

I think its the dplan im not sure. I have to find out. If there is no plan on the car, then I won't be able to afford it. They will want over 50k for the car
I won't comment on my car's peformance. People already know how I feel bout the car hahaha.

As long as you promise to do one mod and LOWER IT then I'd go GT500....with the stripe delete

That's a very tough decision... If money wasn't an issue I'd probably go with the GT500. I LOVE the 03-04 cobra, but the 2010 is a refined BEAST!

600 rwhp with just a pulley tune etc you KNOW you will start modding gt500
my guess inevitaable for whipple terminator guy.i would say go gt500. you have done a lot with the cobra and it seems like you want to take the next step, so i say go for it if you can swing it. the 2010s are BEAUTIFUL cars especially in grabber blue. honestly i would do it if i could and i love my car more than anything. but if you decide not to you will still have the one and only terminator. its own car, nothing like it and the there must be ****load more gt500s on the road already than 03/04 cobras. it is timeless classic and will hold its own for years to come goodluck with your decision |

If the Cobi is paid up I'd say keep it. Cars are depreciating assets and it's always gonna be greener on the other side. Granted new stuff always feels good/better so instead go buy yourself a nice shirt and grab a beer. It's what I would do.
