Here is the story. Two things that I think is wrong and 3 other members confirmed it. so I don't want to hear, oh alex is anal about his car and is picky. No, 3 other terminator owners confirmed it. venomous john, aj, and revinto7 all DROVE my car.

Let's forget about the whipple. Let's go back to the eaton day's. we all know the eaton, is very very torquey and hits hard. aj, john, and some other's all had a 2lb lower with a 2.80 upper or a 2.76 upper I forgot.

I, on the other hand had a 2.80 upper 4lb lower. That was a extreme pulley combo. 18lbs of boost. I saw , two members on SVTPERFORMANCE with that pulley combo racing, and the car's were VIOLENT. From a roll, they would jump out on you instantly. so I said to myself, I understand that the eaton will get hot, but, I don't beat on the car that much and I want A STRONG LOW END.

All said and done, the car ended up making 508rwhp and 547rwtq!!! 547 from a eaton, that **** should blast your face in. If you ever rode in a cobra you would understand.,

My car, from the hit, even when I raced a few car's from a dig, felt like it had 400rwtq. There was no hit, nothing. The power came on linear and it sucked.

venomous john drove the car, in 2nd gear, at 4,000rpms, with that eaton combo, he nailed it with me in the passanger seat, and the car absolutely went nowhere.

Venomous john said and I quote...." Your car went nowhere and it feels like you have a upper pulley only."

I have been in a million 03 04 cobra's and everyone is having fun with there car. They all have that snap. That is what a COBRA HAS TO DO and feel like. So all this time, I have not been enjoying this car. I own a cobra, and it feel's like a piece of **** honestly.

driving around town, you stab the gas peddle to make it go, and it feels flat. Like nothing happened.

That is another reason why I am SCARED to sell the car. I don't want the owner coming back at me, saying he doesn't like the car and wants his money back. so I AM FORCED TO KEEP IT.

Another problem is, the slightest touch on the gas peddle makes the car jerk foward and it feels like its going to snap your neck. I thought, it should be the opposite. when you NAIL IT, it should snap your neck. This is not torque that I am talking about. It's very sensative and just rocks you foward.

pete, can CONFIRM THIS as well and said it was NOT NORMAL.

GOTGRUNT, drove my car and said it was not normal. I drove GOTGRUNT'S cobra and one night, gary and I TRIED TO DUPLICATE THAT SYMPTOM WITH HIS COBRA AND NOTHING HAPPENED.

I have been dealing with this for years and years. sorry for the rant and sorry to bring in name's into the thread but that was the only way people would believe me. and if anyone breaks my balls about it, you know what, im paying for the car and the car should work like all the other cobra's. It's my car.

What do you think it is, possible motor problem? I'm not mechanically inclined, nor know much about cobras, but have you ever had some sort of diagnostic test done on the car?

Honestly, I have no idea. My cobra is babied and I hardly ever beat on it. I just like to get on it a bit to scare me and have some fun. so I believe the motor is still in top shape.

car has a new clutch. I am going to datalog my car very soon. I know someone that will help me out. we will log everything and record it all on the computer.

I am also going to add a few more mods to see if it helps the car out.

I can't be making this stuff up, as the people that I mentioned all drove and felt the car.

The only time I said damn this car is freakin awesome!! was when I had 900 dollars in mods m aking 460rwhp and 482rwtq. I raced a few fast car's and a 600cc bike and it shocked the **** out of me and shocked them! especially the bike. That was back in 2004. eversince then, the car has yet to impress me

well it was pretty chilly tonight and took the car out. did a few blasts. I was expecting the car to be pretty fast. But oh well I was wrong

To sum it up, the car WILL not get the extra mods and will eventually be sold.

I know it may not 'feel' as snappy but if it
turns a good number its good to go. I cant
see it running a slow number at the track.

Do what you can to investigate the problem Alex.

I know it will be strenuous, but if you can get to the bottom of the problem, then there will be no reason to sell the car.

The car last night in cold weather ran like complete ****. I was so disguised with it.

590rwhp it put on the dyno, and honestly, it feels like its making half. even up top. Ill give anyone a ride in my car and you tell me what you think.

I guess I have to take it to the track and see. The track rentals are always on week days and I can't really take off nor have a trailer. I dont want to break down at the track.

I wanted to build a fast street car. If it doesn't feel fast on the street I failed at doing it then and is no fun.

The car just feel's lazy all around.
